In March of 2024, Fundacja Europejski Instytut Outsourcingu in Poland was eagerly preparing for the launch of an exciting new project titled “Bridging Cultures.” This innovative initiative aims to foster cross-cultural understanding and integration amongst youth workers, mentors, young people, and migrants in the community. As part of the project kickoff, they planned a meeting to bring together all the key stakeholders who will be involved. This gathering was intended to establish shared goals, assign roles and responsibilities, and begin laying the groundwork for collaborative activities to come.
Throughout the multi-month duration of “Bridging Cultures”, participants can look forward to engaging workshops, training sessions, and mentorship programs focused on building bridges between different backgrounds. For instance, young migrants may be paired with mentors who can help them adjust to their new home and feel welcomed. Likewise, youth workers may receive guidance on best practices for serving a diverse population with sensitivity. By promoting dialogue and mutual learning, the project hopes to equip young people with the tools they need to thrive in an increasingly globalized world. The kickoff represents the first step on this meaningful journey of fostering inclusion and unity across cultures.
