The founder, a highly capable leader with experience managing large teams exceeding 1,000 members, has always been at the forefront of migrant integration efforts. Her professional background spans business development, human resources, administrative support, and problem-solving, with notable achievements in facilitating the successful integration of migrants. With an academic background in European languages, economic management, and international humanitarian law, she is also a certified educator affiliated with the International Red Cross. Her multilingual skills—including Italian, French, English, Bambara, Manding, Malinke, Kassonké, and Dioula—enhance her ability to facilitate intercultural communication and mediation.

Mali Musow ODV is committed to multiple areas of support for migrant women. One of its primary initiatives is education, providing free Italian literacy courses to help migrants overcome language barriers and build confidence in their new environment. The organization also fosters cultural integration through monthly intercultural gatherings in different Italian cities, celebrating important events such as International Women’s Day on March 8th.

Employment assistance is another key focus, offering support to unemployed women in finding jobs. So far, 12 women have successfully gained employment through the organization’s programs, and this number continues to grow. Financial and social support initiatives provide microloans of up to €300 to help individuals address urgent situations and offer food assistance during Ramadan. Beyond Italy, Mali Musow ODV has a global reach, conducting annual projects in Mali to assist rural women, reflecting a vision for worldwide women’s well-being. The organization also builds lasting impact through partnerships with NGOs like Onlus Mali, which supports orphans and widows, and CEOIT, which constructs schools in Mali.

Driven by an unwavering commitment to change, Mali Musow ODV continues to advocate for migrant women’s rights in Italy. The organization firmly believes in unity, understanding, and the indomitable spirit of women.

Mali Musow ODV also plays a significant role in youth work, offering various programs to support young migrants and promote their social inclusion. The organization provides free Italian literacy courses for young migrants to enhance their language skills and ease their integration into Italian society. Monthly intercultural gatherings bring together young people from different backgrounds, fostering cultural exchange and mutual understanding.

In addition to cultural activities, the organization assists unemployed young women in job searching by connecting them with potential employers and providing career guidance. To address economic challenges, Mali Musow ODV offers micro-credit programs, helping young individuals start businesses or pursue educational opportunities. These financial initiatives serve as a stepping stone for many young people seeking economic independence.

The organization also actively connects youth with global initiatives. Every year, it participates in projects in Mali, where young people receive education and vocational training opportunities. Leveraging the founder’s expertise, Mali Musow ODV organizes workshops on intercultural communication, mediation, and other essential skills to equip young people for success in a diverse society.
